Don Kunkel (born 1933, USA, New Jersey) is an American artist, graphic designer, and illustrator, primarily known for his work on comic books and collectibles. Kunkel uses both traditional and digital drawing techniques. Kunkel attended the Kubert School, a prominent school for cartoon and graphic art, about 20 years prior to recent social media mentions (putting his time there around the early 2000s). He is noted for his work on sketch cards and comic book covers. He has worked for major companies in the comics and collectibles industry, including Marvel, DC, Upper Deck, and Dynamite. While originally from New Jersey, he is currently active in the arts community in the Huntsville, Alabama area.
